Top European clubs confirmed to play in Dublin!

 As preparations start again for this year’s  Hibernia Trophy, which will take place in August. The line up has now been completed with top European clubs such as FC Utrecht (Holland), Liverpool FC (UK), FAI Development Squad (IRE), Atletico Madrid (Spain), FC Copenhagen (Denmark), Linfield FC (NI), Leicester City FC (UK), who will arrive to compete in what has become Ireland’s Top U-14 International Soccer Tournament.

 Players such as Paul McShane (Sunderland), Andrew Keogh (Wolves), Conor Clifford (Chelsea) – to mention a few- have all played in this prestigious tournament over the years. This tournament has become the starting point of many international players to wear the green jersey under the stewardship of Irish underage manager John Morling.

 The Hibernia Trophy has provided the opportunity to see very best Irish players and at the same time see them compete against many of the top European clubs.

 The tournament is in its 6th year and is run in partnership with the Dun Laoghaire World Cultures Festival. The dates for this year’s Hibernia Trophy are  20th- 22nd  August 2010.
